I have been very lucky Wedding photography has taken all over Europe, Wedding photography at Orsett Hall takes me to the end of my road. Wedding photography at Orsett hall isn't just so pleasant because its the venue closest to my home, wedding photography at Orsett hall has always been a pleasure because of the vast array of opportunities it provides as a wedding venue.

I first worked here many years ago, and was distressed to here that this beautiful venue had suffered a fire, a call one morning from a friend in the village told me that Orsett Hall had a fire , they didn't tell me that it had in-fact been completely destroyed! I arrived at Orsett hall to find the site level the beautiful stately home had gone! This was 2007 and more about the fire can be found here History of Orsett Hall

I am happy to report that, Shortly after the rebuild had completed, I was one of the first photographer to cover a wedding here, on arrival this imposing 17th century house was in all essence was back, but now with the addition of a large purpose built pavilion originally constructed to prevent further complications with more of the booked weddings, but now serves as a wonderful venue in its own right.

It wasn't really a full day of Orsett hall wedding photography, It was unusual split between two venues, fortunately both were close together enough to allow me to cover both venues but still far enough apart to allow me no option than to do a lot of running!

Wedding prep photography normally revolves around the Bride, It was a pleasure to see that cultural tradition, had this time, provided me with an event when it came to the Groom getting ready.

Wedding photography at Orsett hall also means that occasionally the chapel on the grounds is chosen for the ceremony, this beautiful building nestled away in a heavily landscaped area of the grounds, within its own walled garden provides a wonderful setting for the wedding ceremony. both Small enough to be perfect for a more intimate ceremony and capable of holding a large number of guests for that larger wedding.

I'm a big lover of those moments, and with over 800 photos from 3 days I spent with this beautiful couple those natural smiles are the ones i like the most.

The Grounds.

Endless opportunity for wedding photography at Orsett hall are one of the reasons i love it so much, the great thing is these are not new gardens, and are dotted with established trees, and the grounds are perfect screened from the surroundings, once here in these vast grounds, you mind is contained in the grounds, its a lovely place to be even just as a visitor, as a wedding photographer Orsett hall is perfect.
